Job Description:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team. You will help build new features, update existing ones and support bug fixes and performance issues in our school cash management and/or payments suite, used by thousands of schools and over a million parents and guardians across North America. Our products save time and money that can be used instead on student outcomes, and we are extremely proud of our impact. Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices
- Collaborate with other developers, UX designers, and product owners to ensure the best outcomes and experience for our customers and our users
- Create user interfaces using Javascript, HTML, and CSS
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Work on bug fixes and resolve production issues
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on business and technical needs
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into our product and processes as appropriate
- Work with designers to match visual design intent
Requirements & Skills:
- 3-5 years backend experience with C# and ASP.NET
- Frontend experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript frameworks such as React
- Experience developing and using REST APIs
- Experience interfacing with relational databases using SQL
- Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment
- Experience with Azure
- Writing robust and testable code
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
- Understanding of Atlassian products such as: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques
- Experience with secure coding practices and performance diagnosis and optimizations preferred
