Front End Developer,  ERP Applications

The Front End Developer, ERP Applications will play a leading role in the development of the future state supply chain tech experience, more specifically, develop the front end user interface for Shift4’s ERP through our Palantir Foundry platform. Throughout the mission, we expect you to be a steward of the Shift4 Way - make bold decisions, pursue excellence, take ownership of all that you do and build trust with your stakeholders. 


This opportunity will be based at our Center Valley, PA headquarters. Relocation assistance may be available.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a robust app that will serve as the front end interface into Oracle that will be used by employees from various areas within Shift4 across the globe. Work with the backend team to develop APIs and actions in Foundry that will drive the integration between our ERP app and Oracle.
    Support needs assessment exercises throughout the discovery and design phase; provide technical documentation support during requirements phase(s).
  • Write data automations using rules, alerts, or other common data engineering tools to build automated workflows that simplify the user experience.
  • Serve as a voice of guidance throughout the build / configuration process; provide support during testing / QA to ensure product alignment with architecture designs and goals
  • Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement; assess performance and productivity of deployed capabilities technologies to ensure goals are being met, identify opportunities for iterative improvements, etc.
  • Create consumable technical documentation for users to understand complex technical details.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer with solid proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with an understanding of responsive design principles as well as experience with a modern front-end framework/library like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • 1+ years of experience with Enterprise ERP Procurement and/or Finance systems including Oracle Fusion ERP or equivalent systems.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related field or relevant experience.

Additional experience that is a plus to have:

  • Masters degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or other similar cloud based ERP platforms.
  • Experience working with and managing third party vendors. 
  • Experience driving integrations between SaaS based enterprise systems and third-party systems.
  • Business process management experience.
