Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement modern front-end solutions adhering to industry best practices.
- Construct reusable front-end code and libraries to ensure future scalability and efficiency.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed UI/UX designs.
- Contribute to performance, load, and stress testing, offering recommendations for performance improvement and scalability.
- Prepare and maintain necessary software packages and documentation for deployment, strictly following defined standard deployment policies.
- Provide timely and effective solutions for critical production issues, maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Front and Backend Developers, QA, the Product Owner, and the Designer to create, scale, and deliver new features and services.
- Provide technical oversight through comprehensive code reviews and technical validations.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- A strong understanding of web development best practices and established development processes.
- Current knowledge of Web UI best practices and modern usability concepts.
- Proficiency in web performance, security and data protection principles.
- Practical experience in consuming RESTful APIs.
- Exceptional communication (both verbal and written) and cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to clearly articulate technical details to a non-technical audience.
- A minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in front-end web development utilizing React and Typescript.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Azure Devops architecture and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines.
- Demonstrated usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance productivity.
- Experience leveraging React Native to develop production-ready mobile applications.
