Your Impact at dss+

You will support the delivery of transformation programmes, working closely with client teams on site to improve safety performance, strengthen operational discipline, and embed sustainable ways of working.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work alongside dss+ teams to identify root causes of safety and operational performance challenges through analysis, observation, and engagement

  • Develop, communicate, and implement practical solutions that address client needs and drive measurable improvement

  • Coach leaders and frontline teams to embed behavioural safety and risk-aware decision making

  • Work directly with client stakeholders to identify pain points and support implementation of effective solutions

  • Facilitate small group coaching sessions and interventions to drive lasting cultural and behavioural change

  • Contribute to the successful delivery of short-term, high-impact transformation projects

Who You Are

You bring strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and contributing to meaningful outcomes.

You are an experienced operational professional within Mining & Metals, with a strong track record of coaching individuals and teams to deliver real, sustainable change in safety and performance. You are either an established freelancer or immediately available for contract-based assignments.

Experience

  • Extensive operational experience within the Mining & Metals industry

  • Proven track record of coaching (not just training) individuals and groups to deliver behavioural and performance improvement

  • Experience working in safety, operational risk, or operational excellence environments

  • Experience working in site-based, high-risk operational settings

Capabilities

  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to influence behaviours

  • Ability to identify root causes and translate insights into practical solutions

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability

  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments

Languages

  • Fluency in both French and English (mandatory)

Mobility

  • Willingness to work on client sites up to 5 days per week during project delivery

  • Ability to travel extensively (up to ~80%)

  • Availability for short-term assignments (typically 2–6 months)
