About This Role

We’re looking for a freelance content writer with experience writing for the MSP audience. This is a part-time contract role focused on helping us grow inbound traffic and build credibility with technical decision-makers inside MSPs.

The ideal candidate has experience writing about:

  • Identity & access management (IAM)
  • Cybersecurity for SMBs
  • MSP operations and tools
  • Partner-led GTM models

You’ll work closely with our marketing team to produce blog articles, short guides, landing page copy, and occasional email or social content - all designed to help MSPs understand and adopt IAM solutions.

You can view existing articles, case studies and guides on our website here: https://zerotek.com/msp-resources/.

Responsibilities

  • Research and write 2–4 content pieces per month (blogs, guides, short-form copy)
  • Translate technical topics into compelling, partner-first content MSPs will trust
  • Work from briefs, outlines, or interviews with our internal subject matter experts (CEO, Head of Product, Customer Success)
  • Identify and seek out industry experts to interview for articles or to quote
  • Adapt and repurpose product messaging into educational or thought leadership content
  • Collaborate asynchronously with our marketing team

Requirements

  • Proven writing experience for MSPs or IT service providers (please include samples)
  • Familiarity with the MSP business model
  • Ability to write clearly about technical topics
  • Strong command of brand-aligned tone and structure - engaging but practical
  • Comfortable with asynchronous collaboration and tight turnaround on drafts
  • Bonus: experience with IAM vendors (Okta, etc.)

Why This Role Is a Great Fit

  • You want longer-term freelance work that’s meaningful and strategic
  • You like writing for real IT professionals, not just chasing keywords
  • You’re energized by early-stage teams where your work drives real results
  • You’d like to help shape content strategy (not just write to order)
