Founding Engineer - Hexagon.ai

At Hexagon.ai, we're building a multi-agent orchestration platform designed to transform how enterprise vendors onboard, interact with, and manage their relationships with SMB customers. Our goal is to move beyond rigid automation by enabling intelligent agents to collaborate on complex workflows that typically require human oversight.

Our first product is a data integration and migration platform that allows customer success teams to ingest and migrate client data (regardless of format) in just minutes, or enables end-customers to self-onboard. We're currently running pilots with four enterprise vendors, including three with valuations over $1B and have reduced data onboarding timelines by up to 95%.

We’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer who’s excited to work on deeply technical problems and help solve real pain points in enterprise-SMB interactions.

What You’ll Do
  • Build modern, performant frontend interfaces in React and TypeScript for interacting with multi-agent systems

  • Develop and maintain Python-based backends that support agent workflows, data ingestion, and orchestration logic

  • Work closely with product and AI teams to define and scale intelligent workflows powered by LLMs and other services

  • Optimize for robustness and speed across the full stack. From UI interactions to backend agent coordination

  • Help define the architecture and infrastructure needed to scale pilots into production deployments

What We’re Looking ForTechnical Excellence
  • Experience building complex web applications with React and TypeScript

  • A strong eye for performance and user experience in frontend systems

  • Interest in AI/ML, especially in real-world, workflow-oriented applications

  • Proven track record working on complex web applications

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in React with modern patterns (hooks, context, component architecture)

  • Strong TypeScript skills and thoughtful use of the type system

  • Experience with state management and scalable data flow architecture

  • Deep understanding of performance optimization and debugging in web apps

  • Familiarity with testing libraries and end-to-end test workflows (e.g. Jest, Playwright)

  • Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack) and CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions, Vercel, Railway)

Nice to Have
  • Experience building or integrating LLM-powered products or agent systems

  • Exposure to real-time frontend interactions (e.g., WebSockets)

  • Understanding of multi-agent design patterns or orchestration frameworks

  • Familiarity with customer data onboarding, migration, or enterprise integration workflows
