Role Overview


As our founding AI engineer, you'll partner closely with the founders to architect and implement our proprietary AI platform. You'll fine-tune and optimize foundation models, craft sophisticated multi-agent systems, and invent novel solutions to power the next generation of data intelligence.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement our core AI infrastructure, including model fine-tuning, fast decoding, and multi-agent architectures
  • Build intelligent recommendation systems that guide users toward more effective data analysis
  • Develop "fast update" capabilities enabling near real-time model responses to user modifications
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure AI outputs are both insightful and intuitive
  • Shape our technical roadmap and establish best practices for AI development

What you bring

  • Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience building and scaling 0->1 AI/ML systems in fast-paced environments
  • Strong experience training and fine-tuning large language models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA).Expertise in PyTorch, vLLM, and modern AI frameworks
  • Deep understanding of prompt engineering, NLP techniques, and generative modeling
  • Experience with multi-agent systems and distributed architectures
  • Proficiency in Python and modern development practices (CI/CD, containerization)
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript/Next.js is a plus
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary $140,000 – $200,000 per year based on experience and equity preference
  • Early stage equity based on cash compensation
