We’re building Reflow, a workforce and workflow intelligence platform that helps teams understand and improve how work gets done.

The quality of our insights depends on how well we interpret signals for each client. Getting that right across organizations and teams is not trivial. It requires understanding of their goals, interpreting their data, and designing precise metrics so classifications stay consistent and meaningful.

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Data Analyst to own this configuration work. You will define and validate productivity, economics, and workflow definitions, and make sure new teams get accurate, useful analytics from day one.

What you’ll do
  • Partner with clients to understand their goals and translate them into a clear implementation plan within Reflow.

  • Own setup, configuration, and implementation for new customers, and help them reach value quickly.

  • Ensure customers continue to get value after onboarding by refining configurations, metrics, and reporting.

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to identify improvement opportunities and help shape the product roadmap.

  • Continuously improve implementation and analytics processes to reduce time to value.

  • Design, validate, and iterate on Reflow data models so metrics and reports remain accurate, useful, and meaningful.

  • Query and analyze anonymized, aggregated data to improve data design and identify gaps, conflicts, or inconsistencies.

  • Partner with Customer Success and Product to define how organizations and teams measure their work, then translate that into reliable business intelligence.

Who you are
  • Strong SQL and database skills, and you use data to drive and validate configuration decisions.

  • Rigorous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on correctness, edge cases, and avoiding conflicts or overlap in data.

  • Excellent at translating business intent into clear, testable logic and rules.

  • Comfortable going deep when data models, metrics, or implementation logic become complex.

  • Strong communication skills, especially in client-facing conversations.

  • Experience in client-facing roles, ideally in implementation, analytics, solutions, or customer success.

Bonus points
  • Experience with business intelligence and turning raw, noisy data into clear and actionable metrics.

  • Familiarity with writing efficient regex-based queries for analytics workflows.

  • Experience configuring or implementing software for new customers or teams.

Why join
  • You will own the link between how teams think about work and what the platform actually measures.

  • Your work will directly shape the accuracy and usefulness of our analytics for every new team.

  • This role is a strong fit if you like turning real-world activity data into clear, consistent structure that customers and product teams rely on.

  • We’re open to starting part-time

  • If you want to own configuration quality and make new teams successful from day one, you’ll fit right in.

Compensation:

We offer competitive pay based on the market and where you’re located. The salary ranges in our job postings are intentionally wide because they need to cover both U.S. and international candidates. Our final offer will depend on things like your experience, skill set, and location.
