What You'll do:

As a Forecast Modelling Analyst Student, you’ll work with our Forecasting & Inventory Support team to support key merchandising decisions and drive best-in-class inventory management. You’ll gain hands-on experience in data analysis, predictive modelling, and business reporting, collaborating with Business teams across Merchandising, Forecasting, Promotions, and IT.

  • Assist with traditional analytics and predictive/statistical modelling to identify sales drivers and conduct scenario analysis.

  • Support the design and delivery of user-friendly tools and reports.

  • Help ensure forecasting systems and reports are operational and support business processes.

  • Participate in ad-hoc analysis requests, process improvement initiatives, and special projects.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure model predictions are explainable and integrated into business processes.

What You Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in engineering, math, computer science, statistics, business, or a related field.

  • A student with a passion for data science, analytics, and retail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience or coursework in Python, SQL, R, or VBA is an asset.

  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access, and/or database systems.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

  • Interest in machine learning, data visualization, and cloud technologies is a plus.

  • A collaborative team player who enjoys building relationships and tackling new challenges.

Our typical hiring range is between $23.00 and $37.00. Compensation decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
