Job Description
Build payment and digital wallet infrastructure for Swift Tech Co.'s FinTech Platforms practice, systems that move real client money and have to pass a compliance audit, not just a code review.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain payment processing integrations (Stripe, Plaid, or similar) for client fintech platforms
- Implement KYC/AML identity verification flows (Jumio, Onfido, or Persona) for onboarding
- Design digital wallet and money-transfer systems with real-time transaction monitoring
- Own encryption and key management (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, HSM-backed keys) for financial data
- Work with compliance staff to keep systems aligned with PCI-DSS Level 1 and applicable Canadian regulatory requirements (FINTRAC)
- Design for multi-currency and cross-border transactions where the client's business requires it
