About the Role – Overview

The Financial Product Manager role at CMiC provides a unique opportunity for candidates to join an established software company and experience the full product development lifecycle. Financial Product Managers will focus on features in their assigned product area and take on key tasks like gathering user requirements and developing process design documents. The construction industry comes with many unique challenges that are ready for you to solve with the right mix of creativity and technology. This role is your first step to a rewarding career in Product at CMiC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Design, Development, Testing and Release of features in your product area
  • Supporting our internal teams with documentation and training of new features
  • Engaging with Customers, Sales, Solutions and Consulting to stay on top of feature requests that could enhance your product
  • Reviewing product enhancement suggestions submitted on portals like UserVoice
  • Conducting competitive analysis related to your product group

Requirements
  • Must Have : CPA or any other accounting designation (or on the track)
  • College Diploma or University Degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Information Systems and Computer Science are preferred)
  • Previous experience implementing or supporting financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability and great attention to detail focused on understanding the intersection of user and business needs
  • Experience uncovering client processes, methods and evolving approaches to align with client expectations
  • A passion for technology/software
  • A highly motivated individual that takes pride in his/her work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of Information Systems (servers, web pages, client apps)
  • Experience working in the Software and/or Construction industry is preferred but not required
