A top sales team at Marcus & Millichap in Toronto is seeking a dependable entry level financial analyst. This is a full-time position working directly under the team’s senior agents.
 
Excellent analytical and professional business writing skills are required. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Real Estate. Superior computer skills are a must; the candidate should possess an extremely high comfort level with Microsoft Excel and have general excel financial modeling capabilities. Knowledge of Argus software is a desired skill but not necessary.
 
The Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support services for a team that focuses on Office, Industrial and retail properties throughout Canada. These services will include preparing proposals/opinions of value, data input, underwriting property values, performing market research, both in and outside the office to evaluate real estate, analyzing comparable properties and sales trends and preparing financial analysis for presentation to clients. Professionalism and attention to detail are a must.
 
The Financial Analyst will be a resourceful contributor to the team who can operate in a fast paced and demanding environment, take direction, and multi-task under tight deadlines. Projecting a friendly and professional demeanor while having fun is mandatory for this position.
 
The base range for this role is $28.00 – $ 34.00 CAD per hour. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-jurisdictional employer and posted compensation ranges are provided in good faith for compliance with all relevant pay-transparency regulations. This position is eligible for a discretionary performance‑based bonus. The exact bonus amount is not guaranteed and will vary based on individual performance, team results, and company performance.

  • Ability to handle sensitive material.
