Job Description:

We’re looking for a Financial Analyst - Treasury to play a hands-on role in managing and forecasting cash with balances in the hundreds of millions. In this role, you’ll build deep exposure to cash management, foreign exchange hedging, and financial analytics, partnering closely with Finance, Tax, and Global Treasury teams and presenting insights to senior leadership. You’ll have the opportunity to influence hedging decisions, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic treasury initiatives. What You’ll Do:

  • Supports TJX Canada’s Treasury cash management, analytics, regular reporting and forecasting initiatives.

  • Calculates foreign currency hedging requirements (including the measurement of realized and unrealized foreign exchange impacts) related to merchandise transactions and trade revaluations.

  • Supports the Tax department with government remittances and provides strategic support to Treasury leadership on key initiatives and projects.

  • Maintains the Canadian “chequebook,” providing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting and forecasting of Canada’s cash position. Partners closely with various Finance teams to update forecasts and investigate variances.

  • Supports the Global Treasury team on various projects and deliverables including rolling cash forecasts (global consolidation).

  • Develops, analyzes, and presents cash analytics and foreign exchange (FX) reports to key stakeholders.

  • Monitors bank accounts to ensure appropriate funding is available to meet operational requirements.

  • Ensures tax-related payments are received, reviewed, and processed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Provides strategic and analytical support to Treasury leadership on key initiatives, projects, and ad hoc analyses.

About You:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Consulting, Investment Banking, or other related field; established analytical skill and experience with forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing key financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow).

  • Post secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce/Economics is preferred.

  • Proven aptitude with Microsoft Office suite, including the ability to develop robust, detailed, and interactive financial models in Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience building clear presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint) directed to senior management; effective ability to tell stories with data and present with confidence.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities; able to adapt communication style to suit the needs of different audiences (peers, key business partners, management).

  • High degree of curiosity and enthusiasm for continuous learning; able to explore, process, and understand large amounts of business data/information.

  • Strong sense of urgency around delivery of information and deadlines

Salary Range: $61,582.50-$86,215.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
