What You’ll Do:
This role reports to the Manager of FP&A – Strategy, Innovation and Payments, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Senior Financial Analyst on the
Collaborate with a Senior Analyst to update and create insightful management reports to enable business decisions
Enhance and create Excel financial models aimed to simplify business processes
Support financial services business cases for Canadian Tire’s True North strategy.
Create reports in Microsoft Power BI
Develop a strong understanding of Canadian Tire Financial Services' strategy and financial results
Support internal clients with ad hoc analysis requests

Equipped with strong technical skills, capable of conducting simple to moderately difficult financial analyses, and adept at learning new financial software and systems with ease.
Courageous individuals who thrive in an environment of change and ambiguity, willing to take on new assignments and requirements based on client or management requests.
Action-oriented and comfortable working independently when necessary, taking initiative to manage their own timelines and prioritize tasks in a virtual-first work environment.
What You Bring:
Currently pursuing a university degree or college diploma in Finance/Accounting, Economics, Math, or another related discipline.
Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across various levels within the organization.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or the ability to learn these tools on the job).
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is considered an asset but is not required; online training is provided.
Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently (including 4 days per week in the office and 1 day per week virtually)

Our typical hiring range is between $23.00 and $37.00 CAD Hourly. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
