The Financial Analyst Intern will assist in analyzing Client and Product Profitability, and in building and maintaining a database of client contracts. This intern will gain exposure to financial analysis, business operations, and data management.

Summer Internship: May 2026 - August 2026

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Compile, organize, and summarize key terms and pricing information from client contracts into a structured database.

  • Perform basic financial and profitability analyses to support client and product performance reviews.

  • Develop and maintain reports to help business leaders understand trends and performance drivers.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives related to data management and profitability tracking.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Skill Level Requirements

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year Business Administration, Finance, or related University Degree or College Diploma program

Experience:

  • Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling, data analysis, and interpreting key financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement).

  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when preparing and reviewing numerical reports.

  • Communicating analytical findings clearly through concise writing tailored to both technical (Finance) and non-technical audiences.

  • Applied financial statement analysis and valuation techniques in academic coursework projects, demonstrating a practical understanding of corporate finance principles.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Proficiency with Excel and in working with data

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

  • Interest in financial modeling, pricing, or business strategy

Tools:

  • Microsoft Office

Compensation

Salary Range: $22.00- $25.00/hour (CAD). Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
