What You’ll Do
- Be an active contributor to month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end financial close, including intercompany, inventory, and COGS reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business operations
- Own the intercompany accounting and reconciliation process, including high‑volume transactional activity
- Post and reconcile bank transactions in SAP
- Act as a central support resource within ARIBA, partnering with internal stakeholders to
- Create purchase requisitions and investment orders
- Ensure goods and services are properly received (GR/IR)
- Facilitate accurate and timely invoice posting
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities
- Assist with purchasing processes, including vendor sourcing and policy compliance
- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and process improvements as needed
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a financial accounting or finance specialist role
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (and PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP and ARIBA (strong asset)
- Familiarity with purchasing and procurement processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
