About the Role

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Finance Solutions team with an initial focus on supporting Finance modernization initiatives across areas such as FP&A, Accounting, and related Finance functions. You will work with a highly skilled and motivated group, with your efforts enabling automation, data-driven decision making, and scalable Finance processes. The Analyst role is ideal for a versatile, curious, and driven individual with strong analytical capability and an interest in Finance systems and process improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Finance modernization initiatives, including reporting enhancements, analytics development, process standardization, and automation.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Finance reports, datasets, and analytical outputs using tools such as OneStream, Power BI, SQL-based datasets, and enterprise AI-enabled analytics tools.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring Finance activities and analyses through basic automation and collaboration with IT or automation teams.
  • Prepare process documentation, standard operating procedures, and user materials to support adoption of re-engineered Finance processes.
  • Build and maintain structured datasets and analytical models to support planning, reporting, and operational Finance use cases.
  • Access raw data sources, write and maintain SQL queries, and validate data accuracy across Finance processes.
  • Support change management activities related to new Finance tools, reports, or processes.
  • Provide ongoing analytical support to Finance stakeholders by responding to ad-hoc requests and clarifying data insights.
  • Promote continuous improvement by sharing best practices in analytics, reporting, and automation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Analysis, or a related field of study.
  • 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, analytics, or finance transformation roles.
  • Experience with Finance systems, analytics tools, or data environments such as OneStream, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CFA designation (or progress toward either).
  • Exposure to automation tools or AI-enabled analytics embedded within enterprise platforms to enhance productivity.
  • Experience with analytics or automation tools such as Alteryx.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Location: Toronto

The hiring base salary range for this position is $62,600 – $86,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
