What will you work on?
The Finance SAP Implementation Lead, M&D Planning will be the key point of contact for Planning workstream for the company’s finance systems transformation project including deployment of SAP S/4 Hana and Anaplan. This person will ensure business critical inputs are incorporated in the system design, while working closely with the Project team, implementation partners and with colleagues across the Melissa & Doug and Spin Master organizations.
How will you create impact?
- Work with broad range of key stakeholders across Melissa & Doug and their parent company, Spin Master, to facilitate the design and implementation of the end-to-end Planning process, which includes business planning (budgeting, forecasting, Innovation, etc.) and Demand/Supply planning
- Participate in Global Design workshops and interface with the project team, System Integrators (SI) and more to design, develop, test, and deploy the Planning workstream of the project.
- Assist the business with designing process flows, including quantity forecasting as well as internal budgeting and related reporting
- Accountable for change management, communications, and partner alignment in support of process improvements, break/fix solutions and approved system improvements
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reporting by leveraging SAP S/4 HANA and Anaplan functionalities
- Ensure robust User Acceptance Testing across the workstream through collaboration with both project and functional teams
- Partner with the IT team to facilitate smooth system integration and data migration
- Serve as change agent for this key transformation project
What are your skills and experience?
- 8+ years of relevant experience ideally with prior roles in a business planning function (including robust knowledge of transaction workflows)
- Demonstrated understanding of SAP and Anaplan business processes in the area ( forecasting and budgeting. demand/supply planning, management reporting)
- Prior exposure to systems implementation, project planning, and/or business integration is required
- Experience in organizational change management
