What You'll Do:

  • Provide business unit management with analytical support, including P&L projections, ratio analysis, budgeting and cost analysis related to business models.

  • Create, maintain & develop Excel databases to improve and streamline processes.

  • Interact with accounting group to analyze transactions impacting the supporting divisions and drive the month-end close process.

  • Respond to written and verbal information requests from internal customers and other as assigned.

  • Develop forecast of business unit operating results each day during month-end close process.

  • Develop and distribute standard and ad-hoc monthly reporting.

  • Review and analyze reports in order to verify results and explain anomalies.

 

 

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Strong business communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to learn, apply, and present financial principles quickly.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple finance accounts concurrently.

  • Highly number- and detail-oriented.

  • High degree of ethics and integrity.

  • Ability to perform under general supervision in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • SQL, Python, Data mining

This is a hybrid position, requiring at least 3 days per week in the office.

Annual pay: CAD $45,000.

Vos responsabilités
  • Offrir un soutien analytique à la direction de l’unité d’affaires, incluant les projections de P&L, l’analyse de ratios, la budgétisation et l’analyse des coûts liés aux modèles d’affaires.

  • Créer, maintenir et développer des bases de données Excel afin d’améliorer et d’optimiser les processus.

  • Collaborer avec le groupe de comptabilité pour analyser les transactions ayant un impact sur les divisions soutenues et contribuer au processus de clôture de fin de mois.

  • Répondre aux demandes d’information écrites et verbales provenant des clients internes et autres parties assignées.

  • Développer des prévisions quotidiennes des résultats opérationnels de l’unité d’affaires durant le processus de fin de mois.

  • Produire et distribuer des rapports mensuels standard et ad hoc.

  • Examiner et analyser les rapports afin de vérifier les résultats et expliquer les anomalies.

Ce que nous recherchons
  • Baccalauréat en finance, comptabilité ou dans un domaine connexe.

  • Excellentes habiletés de communication en affaires (oral et écrit).

  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles et capacité à apprendre, appliquer et présenter rapidement des principes financiers.

  • Maîtrise avancée d’Excel, Power BI et de la suite Microsoft Office.

  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches et plusieurs comptes financiers simultanément.

  • Grande aisance avec les chiffres et souci du détail.

  • Haut niveau d’éthique et d’intégrité.

  • Capacité à performer sous supervision générale dans un environnement dynamique et sous pression.

Atouts supplémentaires
  • SQL, Python, extraction de données (data mining)

Ce poste est hybride et exige une présence au bureau au moins 3 jours par semaine.

Salaire annuel : 45 000 $ CAD.
