MaintainX is looking for a strong Finance Automation Analyst  to join our growing Finance team.

As a Finance Automation Analyst , you will play a vital role in supporting the Finance team in building robust, scalable automated processes to support our rapid growth.  You will work cross-functionally with our FP&A, Accounting, Engineering, Revenue Operations, and other key stakeholders. As a fast-growing company, there will be opportunities to be a key collaborator in special projects by providing technical considerations, which will enable you to expand your skill set while helping MaintainX build new processes and identify opportunities for automation that will help us scale. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, test, maintain and document automated data workflows by leveraging ETL tools such as Alteryx, Python, and SQL.
  • Facilitate Databricks and Tableau integration to enhance advanced analytics across the Finance department. 
  • Identify business and finance risks, propose areas of improvement, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders and serve as the liaison on cross-departmental projects. 
  • Collaborate on the successful implementation of an ERP software. 
  • Provide support across the Finance department and conduct ad hoc queries. 

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2 years or more of experience in Business Intelligence, Finance Operations, or Accounting.
  • Proficient in ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx, Python, SQL) with strong Excel skills. 
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to dissect complex problems, interpret financial data, and apply accounting principles effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, support cross-functional projects, and adapt to significant change. 
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable acting as a liaison across teams and guiding stakeholders through process improvements. 
  • High-energy, positive, and flexible, with a willingness to take initiative and champion continuous improvement. 
  • SaaS experience is a plus.
