This is a remote role based in Ottawa, Ontario, with occasional travel to customer sites and Atlantic Canada as needed, up to 20% travel.

Position Summary:

  • Building relationships and growing the business by market share.
  • Responsible for quarterly business reviews.
  • Promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new customers.
  • Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices.
  • Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.

What you bring to the role:

  • College diploma or degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales or direct sales.
  • Technology experience or channel experience is ideal.
  • Must have excellent sales, relationship-building, customer service, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust.
  • Strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of sales processes and strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite is required.
  • Must be open to traveling within Ottawa and the Atlantic Canadian region.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of advanced complex technical projects or business issues.
