Since 2018, Parkade has been on a mission to redefine parking. We’ve built a platform that transforms underutilized spaces into revenue-generating assets — for apartments, offices, and beyond.
One of the things parkers love most about Parkade is that we help enforce parking rules. No one likes coming home from a late shift at 2am to find a car parked in the assigned spot they pay for! We help ensure that doesn’t happen, but we want to get even more proactive about it, checking spots more frequently at our customers’ buildings, so we’re not just waiting for people to write in after finding a car in their spot. And that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Field Operations Specialist to visit partner properties, and ensure parked vehicles are complying with our rules. Don’t worry — you generally won’t need to leave anything behind, or confront anyone. We just need someone who can scan license plates with our mobile enforcement app, and our remote enforcement team will take it from there.
What You’ll DoYou will be the eyes on the ground for our remote operations team. You will be responsible for patrolling a portfolio of properties located between Mountain View and San Jose. Initially, this will consist of seven locations scattered in that area.
Visit properties independently: You will visit each property in the portfolio roughly twice a week on a shifting schedule.
Manage your schedule: Visits typically take 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the property size. You will aim to visit during high-impact windows (typically 6:00am – 9:00am or 6:00pm – 11:00pm).
Conduct digital patrols: Using the Parkade mobile app, you will scan license plates in both assigned and unassigned zones to identify unauthorized vehicles.
Report violations: You will capture photos of violations (plate, vehicle, and spot number) and submit them through the app for review by our remote Ops team.
Execute enforcement actions: Once the Ops team reviews a report, they will instruct you on the next steps. This may include leaving a printed warning/penalty notice on the vehicle or calling a towing partner.
Assist with towing documentation (when necessary): If a tow is authorized by our centralized team, we may ask you to remain on-site to sign for the tow truck or re-check the spot to see if the vehicle departed.
You have reliable transportation: You must own a vehicle and be willing to travel between locations in the Mountain View/San Jose area.
You are tech-capable: You own an iOS or Android device with a cellular data plan and are comfortable using apps to follow detailed workflows (reserving your own spot, scanning plates, logging reports).
You are dependable & independent: You will be working solo during non-business hours. We need someone we can trust to show up and do the job thoroughly without direct supervision.
You can keep a cool head: While the role is designed to be low-conflict, you must be comfortable handling tough customer service situations or interactions with the public if they occur during a patrol or tow.
Rate: $24/hour.
Weekly hours needed: Exact schedule needed is TBD, but we estimate 15-20 hrs/week, with the goal of visiting each customer twice per week.
Flexibility: Flexible hours/days within the designated enforcement window, and you have the flexibility to visit all buildings on the same day, or split visits up more throughout the week.
