How you’ll make an impact

Join our Innovation Hub as a dynamic Experience Designer who thrives in collaborative environments and elevates the ideas of others. As a systems-thinker who can transform insights into actionable opportunities, you’ll be part of a team that explores complex problems and leads others toward outcomes that truly matter.

In this role, you’ll use qualitative research to uncover where customers and employees face challenges that FCC can solve. You’ll apply design thinking to guide cross-functional SMEs in identifying root problems and shaping low-cost, early-stage solution concepts.

If you’re a natural relationship builder with a passion for customer experience, this role could be a great fit.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct qualitative interviews with customers and employees to uncover needs
  • Synthesize insights and share clear, compelling themes from qualitative research
  • Manage research and workshop logistics
  • Partner with stakeholders to define core problems and opportunities
  • Design thoughtful plans to guide teams through early solution prototyping
  • Champion innovative methodologies such as design thinking and business design
  • Advocate for end‑users at every stage, ensuring decisions reflect their needs

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce or a related field
  • Minimum three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Knowledge of user research, insight generation, problem framing, data analysis and visualization, prototyping and concept testing
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • Intermediate proficiency in both official languages (English and French)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background and experience in the agriculture and agri-food industry
  • Experience working in Miro and collaborating through digital whiteboarding tools
  • Knowledge of FCC business and lending processes and systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial services operations, lending processes or service-based organizations
  • Professional certification in human-centered design, design thinking or qualitative research methodologies
