Executive Assistant to the President

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant (EA) to the President provides high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to ensure the efficient management of the President’s office. This role requires exceptional organizational ability, discretion, communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The EA acts as a trusted partner to the President, helping manage schedules, communications, projects, and internal coordination across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Manage the President’s calendar, scheduling meetings, travel, and events across multiple time zones.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and briefing materials.
  • Draft, review, and manage professional correspondence and communications.
  • Screen calls, emails, and meeting requests, prioritizing urgent matters.

Strategic & Operational Support

  • Track strategic initiatives and follow up with leadership team members on action items.
  • Support preparation for board meetings, leadership meetings, and client engagements.
  • Conduct research, compile reports, and prepare executive summaries.

Project Coordination

  • Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives led by the President.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across consulting teams, finance, marketing, and operations.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure deliverables are completed on time.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key liaison between the President and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings with clients, partners, and senior leadership.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

Administrative Management

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Process expenses and maintain executive records.
  • Organize executive files, documents, and information systems.

Required Experience

  • 5–10+ years of experience supporting senior executives (CEO, President, Managing Partner, or equivalent).
  • Experience in consulting, professional services, finance, or corporate environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex executive calendars and priorities.
  • Experience coordinating executive-level meetings, board meetings, or leadership events.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Required Skills

Organizational & Time Management

  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Communication

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to draft professional correspondence and presentations.

Technology

Proficiency with:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives in consulting or advisory firms.
  • Experience managing confidential board or investor materials.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet).
