About Other.

Other. is raising the bar in the North American advertising industry, setting a new standard for measurable impact, transparency, and accountability for both our team and the clients we partner with.

We're a privately owned, Toronto-based team of about 50, led by three founders who are in the building and in the work. Named to The Globe & Mail's list of Canada's Top Growing Companies for three consecutive years, we're in a period of sustained growth and making the hires that support what's next.

Our headquarters sits in Toronto's Financial District, steps from Union Station, with a second office steps from Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

The Role

This is a newly created role, and it sits closer to our three founders than almost any other seat here.

You'll own two things: the founders' time, and the day-to-day experience of working at Other. More of the week goes to the workplace side than the founders' side, but they aren't separate jobs. Knowing what's on the founders' plate is what lets you run the rest of it well.

This role is part-time at 20 hours per week, with flexibility on how those hours are structured.

What You'll Own

The founders' time. Calendars, scheduling, and meeting logistics for all three. Travel booked end to end, flights through itineraries. Agendas and materials ready before the meeting, not during it. Expenses and receipts handled. The running list of details that would otherwise slip.

New people. Onboarding logistics and day-one readiness, equipment, access, setup, so nobody's first morning is spent waiting. Then the first few months: the check-ins, the touchpoints, the things that decide whether someone feels like they landed somewhere real.

The office. Organized, welcoming, and working. Supplies, vendors, space, and the basic facilities calls that come with two locations.

Team moments. Internal events alongside the social committee, plus recognition, milestones, and celebrations owned end to end, from the booking to the follow-through.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in executive assistance, employee experience, office operations, or a similar coordination-focused role
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to hold multiple priorities at once
  • Follow-through you don't need to be reminded about
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Comfort working closely with senior leadership and handling confidential information
  • The judgment to work independently and make practical calls on your own
  • Pride in supporting others and making things run well

Why You'd Want This

You'll have a real view into how decisions get made here, and real influence over how the founders' time gets spent. We take accountability seriously and don't hide behind process, internally included. If something isn't working, we'd rather hear it and fix it.

The role was built to grow. Depending on where your strengths land, it can deepen toward people and culture work, broaden into office and operations ownership as we scale across two cities, or develop into senior executive support as the founders' scope expands. We'd rather build that path with you than define it before you're here.
