What it’s like to be a Northbridge Executive Assistant (18‑Month Contract)

As an Executive Assistant supporting the Senior Vice President, People & Culture, you’ll play a key role in keeping the department running smoothly and effectively. You’ll be a trusted partner to senior leadership—managing priorities, coordinating complex schedules and meetings, and handling highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Your ability to anticipate needs, stay organized, and build strong working relationships will allow leaders to focus on delivering strategic people and culture initiatives across the organization.

This is a contract opportunity (18 months) ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and has experience supporting senior HR leaders at the executive level.

We want your talent!

If you are great at:

  • Communicating clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing

  • Managing multiple, changing priorities with confidence and attention to detail

  • Building productive relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders

  • Exercising sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy—especially with confidential information

  • Taking initiative and working independently while being a strong team player

  • Staying organized and proactive in a dynamic office environment

  • Providing exceptional customer service and administrative support

You have:

  • Post‑secondary education and/or equivalent on‑the‑job experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of administrative experience in an office environment

  • Experience providing executive‑level support, ideally to HR or People & Culture leaders

  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite in a PC‑based environment

  • Proven experience managing executive calendars, travel, expenses, and reimbursements

  • Experience organizing meetings, training sessions, and special events (on‑site and off‑site), including logistics, materials, catering, and coordination across time zones

  • The ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information and maintain secure document retention systems

  • Experience supporting special projects, including research, reporting, and communications

We really mean it when we say we put you first. Here are a few ways how:

  • Hybrid work! You’ll work 4 days in the office and 1 day from home, offering structure, collaboration, and flexibility to support your productivity and work‑life balance.

  • We offer competitive salaries and support your financial health.

  • We help you prioritize your well‑being from day one through early leave days, wellness programs, rewards, and recognition programs.

  • NBFC cares about community and supports the causes you believe in with donation matching and team volunteer days.

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this contract role is $70,000 – $90,000, which reflects the expected base pay for the position. As this is a contract opportunity, compensation is limited to base pay only and does not include a Total Rewards package. The actual base salary offered may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the role. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, we still encourage you to apply.

This is a real opportunity — we’re actively hiring. If the role sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.

We also want to be transparent about our hiring process. While one of our systems includes AI capabilities, over 99% of our screening is done by real people. We believe in thoughtful, human‑centered hiring decisions and are committed to giving every application the attention it deserves.
