As the Events Marketing Manager, you will own the planning, execution, and optimization of Commerce7’s event marketing strategy. You’ll manage industry events, trade shows, and virtual experiences that drive pipeline growth and strengthen our position as an industry leader. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing, sales, and partnerships teams to ensure all events align with our brand goals and deliver measurable results.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy to support brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement goals.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of in-person and virtual events, including logistics, budgets, contracts, branding, and promotion.
  • Manage key industry events and trade shows and lead all related planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams to maximize opportunities at events, including sponsorships, speaking engagements, and networking.
  • Create event marketing campaigns, including pre-event promotions, onsite activations, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless event experience, from booth design and presentations to lead capture and follow-up.
  • Analyze event performance, measure ROI, and optimize strategies for future events.
  • Manage relationships with event organizers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in event marketing.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or the wine industry.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Experience managing trade shows, conferences, and virtual events.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience working on a remote team.
  • Experience measuring and driving event success/ROI.
  • Familiarity with CRM (HubSpot), marketing automation, and event management tools.
  • Willingness to travel for key industry events.
  • Bonus points if you: have experience in the wine industry & have worked in a SaaS business before.
