Meet Domaine, the world's largest independent Shopify design and development partner, formed by the union of Half Helix and Tomorrow. We are a team of commerce experts dedicated to creating, building, and growing beloved brands. As pioneers and not just participants in our industry, we are inspired to write, break, and re-write the rules for a new generation of commerce.
We're looking for a senior CRM migration specialist to lead enterprise Email Service Provider (ESP) migrations from end to end. This person will serve as the technical lead for migration projects, guiding clients through discovery, migration planning, implementation, QA, deliverability, and platform enablement before handing the account over to a long-term CRM Strategist. This is a highly hands-on, client-facing role requiring deep expertise in Klaviyo, Braze, and enterprise CRM implementations.

Migration Strategy & Execution

  • Owns ESP migration strategy end-to-end: audit of legacy platform configuration, migration roadmap, phased cutover planning, and post-migration validation.
  • Architects data migration approach (subscriber data, engagement history, segmentation logic, suppression/consent records) to preserve deliverability and compliance continuity across the switch.
  • Independently rebuilds and QAs flow logic, segmentation, and automation parity between source and destination platforms — no functionality or personalization lost in transition.
  • Defines and owns the testing/validation protocol for a migration (seed testing, deliverability monitoring, rendering QA) before and after go-live.
  • Builds migration timelines that account for enterprise complexity — integrations, custom events, multi-brand or multi-region instances.

Ongoing Lifecycle Strategy & Ownership

  • Independently owns lifecycle strategy end-to-end across email and SMS for an assigned portfolio — list growth, activation, retention, and revenue optimization — beyond the migration engagement itself.
  • Builds monthly/quarterly content calendars with clear, data-backed rationale behind themes, segmentation, and testing approach.
  • Defines testing methodology and drives continuous improvement of the lifecycle roadmap.
  • Translates performance data into clear, actionable strategy and exec-ready reporting without senior review.

Technical Platform Expertise

  • Expert-level, hands-on experience with **Klaviyo and Braze** required — able to work confidently in both as source and destination platforms.
  • Iterable, Attentive, Postscript, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a strong plus.
  • Serves as the internal technical authority on migration-specific platform mechanics: API/integration behavior, custom data feeds, event tracking, and CDP or reverse-ETL connections.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical implementation issues independently, without reliance on engineering support.
  • Evaluates and documents platform-specific migration risk (e.g., deliverability reset risk, data mapping gaps) and builds mitigation plans.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Owns client relationships through the migration lifecycle and ongoing strategic engagement, including Enterprise and multi-stakeholder accounts.
  • Leads technical discovery conversations with client-side marketing, IT, and data teams to scope migration requirements.
  • Independently leads recurring client strategy meetings, presenting performance insights and recommendations at the executive level.
  • Communicates technical risk and tradeoffs in business terms to client stakeholders, including C-suite/VP audiences.
  • Manages timeline, scope, and expectations independently — escalating only when cross-functional alignment is required.

Enterprise Implementation Standards

  • Sets the standard for how migrations are scoped, documented, and executed across the CRM practice.
  • Builds reusable migration frameworks, checklists, and QA protocols that raise the technical bar for future migrations.
  • Partners with Delivery/Engineering on integration-dependent migrations requiring custom development.

Mentorship & Team Contribution

  • Serves as a technical resource for other Strategists and Specialists on platform logic, migration mechanics, and implementation troubleshooting.
  • Contributes to internal best practices, tooling decisions, and process improvement across the CRM department.

Data & Reporting

  • Defines pre/post-migration performance benchmarks (deliverability, engagement, revenue) and reports on migration health.
  • Synthesizes migration and portfolio learnings into department-level best practices and platform comparison insights.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in CRM/lifecycle marketing, with direct hands-on experience executing ESP migrations in an agency or enterprise in-house setting.
  • Track record owning full-funnel lifecycle strategy for a client portfolio, not just migration-scoped work.
  • Expert-level Klaviyo and Braze required; additional platform experience (Iterable, Attentive, Postscript, SFMC) a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise-scale technical implementations — API integrations, custom data architecture, multi-brand/multi-region instances.
  • Strong technical documentation and QA discipline; comfortable owning ambiguous technical problems without senior oversight.

PERKS & BENEFITS

  • Competitive Healthcare with Dental & Vision
  • Retirement savings plan with employer matching
  • Competitive PTO policy with paid time off at end of year
  • Flexible working schedule
  • Remote-first culture
  • Home office stipend
  • Apple gear
  • Continued education and personal development opportunities
