Enterprise Strategy Manager

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone who can drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives by delivering strategic insights, leading advisory projects, supporting enterprise strategy development and strengthening strategic capacity across divisions. Additionally, the role supports OLG’s innovation and corporate planning activities, while conducting market research, participating on advisory engagements and CEO office initiatives as required.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Chief of Staff and Head of Enterprise Strategy, you will be empowered to:

  • In collaboration with Enterprise Strategy team, identify, evaluate and advance strategic opportunities by conducting research and analysis, challenging assumptions, applying analytics, leveraging market and customer insights, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Contribute to development, coordination and execution of annual and multi-year corporate planning cycles by supporting design and execution of the process, developing materials, facilitating workshops, coordinating with business leads to align divisional plans with enterprise objectives, conducting strategic analysis and prioritization of enterprise activities.
  • Lead market intelligence and external scanning by developing a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technology, competitive dynamics, adjacent market opportunities to inform enterprise strategies, innovation and business development.
  • Support Enterprise strategic planning by conducting research, strategic option development, initiative prioritization and long-term strategy formulation across the organization.
  • Manage and execute assigned strategic and advisory projects in a structured, well-informed and unbiased approach that delivers high-quality insights to the business.
  • Contribute to the development, facilitation, and growth of a strategic community of practice that includes insights, methodologies, tools, communication mechanisms, etc.
  • Support executive operations through analysis, development of materials, and management of records that relate to executive forums, governance processes and special initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required that support the Enterprise Strategy and Office of the CEO functions.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Science or other with a strong focus on problem solving. A foundational understanding of financial modelling, analytics, business process design is an asset. MBA, CPA, or PMP is an asset  
  • 3-5 years experience in Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting or a relevant industry

  • Experience supporting consulting engagements
  • Comfort interacting with senior leadership
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of comfort in ambiguity
  • Ability to track the interactions and interdependencies of a number initiatives within and outside an organization
  • A passion for the Gaming and Entertainment industry
  • A predisposition for action
