Configure Azure environments (VNet, storage, VMs), support O365/SharePoint rollouts, integrate SaaS via API Manager/App Logic, maintain roadmaps, communicate with stakeholders, provide documentation and knowledge transfer, and support change management and project status reporting.
Genesis Consulting is seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure
Architect who is motivated, ambitious, hardworking, and resourceful for a
client in Toronto, Canada. The expected duration of this role is ~4 months. Our clients are some of the
world’s leading companies and the candidate will be a part of challenging
projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs. Join our
team and utilize leading industry technologies to configure, develop, deliver
and support applications for our clients while leveraging concepts of Lean,
Agile, Kanban and SAFe.
The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for architecting and implementing the back-end, including Active Directory, and working with clients’ users for the design of the Office365 and SharePoint sites and folders. Duties include but may not be limited to:
- Working with the
workstream and vendor leads to identify infrastructure to support applications
and end user needs for various business operations that will seamlessly run
applications and integration
- Overseeing and
helping maintain technology roadmaps for core infrastructure offerings
- Communicating
solutions in reviews and discussions with client stakeholders
- Helping ensure
standards and architectural principles are implemented consistently across
project efforts
- Overseeing O365
implementation and rollout project
- Assisting transition
of Azure Cloud environment to outsourcing partner providing documentation and
conducting knowledge transfer sessions across the duration of the engagement
- Hands on
configuration of Azure development, testing and production environments
including VNet, storage, VMs, security policies and access requests
- Support integration
of various SaaS application through design and implementation for connectivity,
security and application interface services (API Manager and App Logic)
- Providing materials
for end user communications and training and contributing to Organizational
Change Management planning
- Weekly updates on
project progress including updates on task completion, input to status reports
and providing guidance for risk and issue management
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications/Experience:
- 7 years of
infrastructure design experience
- Experience working with
infrastructure technologies, such as O365, Azure Cloud,
- Working knowledge of
network design and implementation
- Experience with Azure
cloud implementations
- Strong understanding of
ITIL
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer
