Job Description Summary
We’re seeking an Engineering Manager with Scrum Master expertise to lead agile, cross-functional teams in delivering impactful, human-centered products. This hybrid role blends people-first leadership with agile coaching, making it ideal for someone who thrives on mentorship, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager with Scrum Master to join our growing technology organization. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building strong, empowered teams, enabling high-quality product delivery, and driving agile practices at scale.
You’ll facilitate agile ceremonies, help the team remove impediments, and work hand-in-hand with engineering, product owners and designers. At the same time, you’ll play a key role in people development—mentoring engineers, guiding performance, and creating a culture of continuous growth, collaboration, and empathy.
This is more than a delivery role—it’s a people-first leadership position that blends agile coaching, servant leadership, and engineering know-how to help teams thrive and deliver great experiences.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a servant leader for one or more cross-functional agile teams, ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality delivery.

  • Facilitate all agile ceremonies and guide teams in adopting Scrum and agile principles effectively.

  • Support team growth and performance through regular coaching, mentoring, and 1:1s.

  • Partner closely with engineering leads to translate strategic goals into actionable delivery plans.

  • Foster a psychologically safe environment where team members feel supported, heard, and empowered to take ownership.

  • Ensure alignment across Engineering, Product, and Design, helping teams balance delivery with innovation.

  • Encourage a culture of data-informed decisions, continuous learning, and shared accountability.

  • Drive efforts to improve agile maturity and support team-level experimentation to optimize performance.

  • Lead and advocate for inclusive hiring, development, and collaboration practices within and beyond your teams.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master and Engineering Manager in a fast-paced SaaS or product environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in people management: developing, mentoring, and enabling engineers at various career stages.

  • Strong understanding of agile practices, with a focus on team empowerment and measurable outcomes.

  • Technical background (e.g., past experience as an engineer or technical leader) is highly valued.

  • Deep commitment to collaboration, empathy, and psychological safety in team dynamics.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Passion for building inclusive, high-performing teams where diverse voices are not just heard but celebrated.

  • Data-driven mindset with a track record of delivering results while nurturing team growth and well-being.

  • Comfortable navigating organizational change and ambiguity while keeping people engaged and motivated.
