We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Manager with a strong focus on data and AI to manage and drive complex projects that deliver transformative solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data and AI, stakeholder and project management methodologies. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, coordinating cross-functional efforts, ensuring the successful delivery of AI-driven projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to align business objectives with technical solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Guide the team to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure best practices in software development, testing, and deployment are followed.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments.
  • Manage team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to keep our products innovative.
  • Collaborate with customer executive leaders to define and implement the overall strategy, manage day-to-day team relationships, and drive significant business impact.
  • Establish an effective feedback loop between the customer team and internal product, machine learning, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Engage with top-tier machine learning, product, engineering, and business teams across industries to help them develop and refine data and AI applications that deliver tangible business value.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • 5+ years hard core software development (you know it if you have it)
  • Experience with: Kubernetes, distributed computing, infrastructure as code
  • True full-stack experience including frontend is a strong plus
  • Bias for action and ownership mentality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product management
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Passion for technology and a strong desire to create impactful solutions.
