Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager - AI & Data Analytics to design, develop, and deploy advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions as well as support the design of our new Analyze offering. In this role, you will contribute both technical expertise and strategic insight to drive innovation in our AI, Data Modeling, Analytics and dashboarding. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, spanning product, engineering, data science, and research to transform cutting-edge models into scalable, real-world applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models (e.g., deep learning, generative AI, NLP, predictive analytics and BI tools such as Quicksight or Tableau).
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Lead end-to-end model development: data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster best practices in AI/ML and predictive modeling development.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate models into production systems with reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Stay current on emerging AI trends, frameworks, and research to drive innovation within the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are ethical, explainable, and compliant with industry standards such as bias testing, safety guardrails, and/or familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks
About You - Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on AI/ML with demonstrated experience in having launched and scaled AI products in the past couple of years.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps pipelines (CI/CD for ML).
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with large-scale model deployment and optimization (e.g., GPU/TPU acceleration, quantization, pruning).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models, multimodal systems).
- Hands-on experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Experience with:
- Commercial LLM APIs (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Prompt engineering and optimization frameworks like DSPy
- MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- AI agent/agentic workflow development experience
- Cost optimization for AI deployments
- Specific experience with structured outputs and function calling
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with CRMs, ERPs, or launching products on Salesforce, specifically AgentForce
- Familiarity with fundraising practices and metrics (e.g., donor lifetime value, conversion rates).
- Familiarity with implementations into products such as Tableau, Bi or other dashboards
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications.
