As an Electrical Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following:
Assist SEL engineers with design and drafting of customer solutions.
Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL processes and technologies.
Create device settings based on customer specifications and system modeling.
Test new and existing technologies; document and communicate test results.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Embrace the mindset: Understand. Create. Simplify.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This job might be for you if:
You are currently a student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, with one to two years engineering education completed.
You have the ability to work part time during the school year or full time during the summer.
You are proficient with Microsoft Windows Applications.
You have an interest in electrical power systems, protection and control.
You have practical electrical circuit knowledge.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skill
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
