We are in search of a seasoned Engagement Manager to join our team and take a crucial role in collaborating with our customers to expand our rapidly growing product and influence the future of AI adoption in the enterprise sector. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of customer management principles and practices, and ideally, experience with enterprise software. Responsibilities include owning customer engagements from kickoff, and working closely with internal cross-functional teams. Shakudo’s team culture is proactive, supportive and collaborative. Experience working with technical stakeholders of all levels (C-suite to IC) is important.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer executive leaders to define and implement the overall strategy, manage day-to-day team relationships, and drive significant business impact.
  • Engage with top-tier machine learning, product, engineering, and business teams across industries to help them develop and refine data and AI applications that deliver tangible business value.
  • Partner with customer teams to grasp their internal operations and challenges, identifying areas where Shakudo can make the most significant impact.
  • Manage customer onboarding, conduct business reviews, and sustain the long-term health of the customer base.
  • Handle day-to-day delivery, manage project timelines, and oversee customer deliverables.
  • Maintain the long-term health of the customer base by identifying and addressing potential risks or concerns.
  • Establish an effective feedback loop between the customer team and internal product, machine learning, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Strategically identify ways to standardize customer success and resolve issues for future customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years in management consulting or customer engagement roles.
  • At least 2 years of direct technical experience or close collaboration with engineers on technical projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Outstanding leadership, presentation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of data and AI technologies and their applications in enterprise contexts.

Desired

  • Technical degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Practical knowledge of SQL and some coding abilities (Python).
