ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Email Marketing Operations Specialist at Plusgrade, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing delivery of marketing communications utilizing our email marketing tech stack. You will be a driving force behind enabling commercial growth from timely and high-quality email setup and deployment, personalization and ongoing optimization testing. You are a builder who works well with autonomy and loves collaborating across multiple departments across the business.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, you will:

  • Establish and maintain end-to-end email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Customer.io.

  • Work with Partner Marketing and the Analytics & Insights teams to manage segmentation/personalization, create engaging multivariate tests, build and optimize user journeys, make changes to content, and run campaigns for our partners

  • Design scalable processes to accommodate the company's growth

  • Participate in and execute testing and optimization initiatives across various products and departments across the user journey

  • Continuously enhance internal systems & processes for improved efficiency

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and other stakeholders to consult on email campaign enhancements, capabilities, other integrations.

  • Be a go-to person for all aspects of email marketing operations, answering ad hoc questions and managing changing Partner requirements

 
YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:
 
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations

  • 2+ years of experience setting up, testing, and delivering email communications with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or ​​Customer.io; Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification preferred

  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, including campaign management, data analytics, and marketing automation

  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset

  • Knowledge of email design including HTML and AMPscript

  • Familiarity with Automation Studio, Journey Builder, webhooks and API integration

  • A self-starter approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving objectives

  • Ability to be resourceful and adaptable to evolving challenges
