The Opportunity
We are looking for an Email Marketing Automation Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to join our Digital Enablement team.
This is a hands-on role combining email development and marketing automation, where you will build high-quality, responsive emails and develop customer journeys, data structures, and automated workflows. We are looking for someone who can deliver clean, on-brand emails and build scalable, data-driven solutions, while continuously improving processes through automation and AI.
The expected base salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 with the final number depending on your experience, skills, education, and team budget. On top of that, you’ll be eligible for our discretionary bonus program.

What You’ll Do:
Email Development & Execution
- Build and QA responsive, optimized emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Ensure consistency across devices, inboxes, and brand standards
- Test and troubleshoot using tools like Email on Acid
- Develop modular, reusable templates (Salesforce Distributed Marketing)
- Manage email deployment and performance tracking
Marketing Automation & SFMC Development
- Design and optimize customer journeys (Journey Builder)
- Develop automations, data extensions, and scalable data structures
- Write SQL queries for segmentation and audience creation
- Use AMPscript and SSJS for personalization and dynamic content
- Build triggered sends and automated communications
- Maintain Marketing Cloud Connect (data flows and syncs)
Operations & Collaboration
- Troubleshoot issues across emails, journeys, and data flows
- Ensure best practices for data governance, CASL, and deliverability
- Streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and CRM teams
AI & Innovation
- Apply AI-driven solutions to improve segmentation, personalization, performance, and efficiency
- Stay current with Salesforce (Einstein, Data Cloud) and emerging AI tools
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes through automation and AI
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5+ years of experience in email marketing or marketing automation, with hands-on responsibility for building and deploying campaigns and journeys
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder), including automated and lifecycle journeys
- Experience building trigger-based customer journeys, with a working understanding of how they connect to CRM data and events
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email, with the ability to build and troubleshoot responsive, cross-client templates
- Working knowledge of AMP script and SQL for personalization and audience segmentation
- Experience managing end-to-end email execution, including segmentation, QA, scheduling, and deployment
- Familiarity with email compliance and accessibility standards (CASL)
- Ability to analyze email performance metrics (opens, clicks, conversions, unsubscribes) and translate insights into optimization opportunities
- Strong attention to detail and QA discipline, with the ability to identify and resolve issues before deployment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot across email, data, and automation
- Highly organized and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Curious and proactive, with an interest in improving processes through automation and AI
