Electrical Submittals Designer
Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 CAD per year
Job Summary…
As an Electrical Submittals Designer you will prepare complete sets of electrical drawings using conventional drafting tools such as AutoCAD Electrical.
Your Responsibilities…
- Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company is required.
- Prepares complete sets of electrical drawings
- Maintains proper documentation and database changes.
- Prepares final drawings and supplementary information necessary to complete assignments, select required information from precedents, manufacturers, catalogs, and technical guides.
- Mechanical knowledge required to prepare mechanical drawings including layout, multiple views, design details and other related complementary design work to support electrical design.
- Interfaces with internal staff as well as customers, agents, or vendors regarding technical issues pertaining to parts, design, usage, specifications, etc.
- May perform design work generally limited to complex layout of equipment based on standards and established practices with assignments designed to develop increasing knowledge of product application.
- May establish or modify product documentation system to simplify and automate the process.
- All other duties assigned.
Do you qualify…
Education: 2-4 year Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Technical field preferred or relevant work experience.
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years preferred; proficient using computer software AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
