ABOUT THE ROLE: 

As an ECM SharePoint Developer/Admin, you are primarily accountable for the implementation, administration and enhancement of the SharePoint platform as well as its integration with other HTC applications/platforms. The role includes daily monitoring of the system, supporting client requests, investigating and resolving technical issues, and maintaining the overall health and performance of the SharePoint environments. The ECM SharePoint Developer/Admin will also assist in future integrations with existing and new Home Trust systems. This role will work with the business to promote the use of ECM within Home Trust providing a high level of customer service and troubleshooting expertise.

In addition: 

    • Manage, secure and maintain the SharePoint Online (SPO) platform, including OneDrive for Business
    • Oversee and enforce all aspects of the Site Collection lifecycle (including managing permissions)
    • Manage and maintain site Content and Structure settings, Site Hierarchy, and site collection navigation
    • Review new functionalities and features in the MS SPO roadmap and advise the business on changes/improvements
    • Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint SharePoint Online and OneDrive client sync or access issues and related malfunctions
    • Design, configure and manage comprehensive site collection, site and list level usage reports and usability analysis
    • Develop and/or revise guidelines and documentation for the end users, site owners and administrators
    • Work with relevant IT teams to establish an online backup and recovery procedure
    • Create, implement and configure Tenant level security settings, and document policy around key security aspects (MFA, Conditional access, External sharing)
    • Design and implement a DLP and retention policy structure for SPO/OD4B
    • Utilize MS SharePoint Migration tool or similar for migrations of on premises content to SPO and OD4B Environments
    • Work on tickets and service requests for Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, O365 Enterprise SharePoint and on premise environments meeting the SLAs in the ITSM system
    • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise taxonomy, terms, and keywords for the term store
    • Participate and present ECM SharePoint change requests in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, as necessary
    • Assist in the development and implementation of high-availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies for SharePoint environments
    • Assist with gathering and documenting ECM-related business requirements
    • Assist in implementation, testing and promotion of new initiatives and integration of ECM applications with HTC systems
    • Actively support end-users in assessment and use of new functionality, training materials and other project related activities
    • Actively engage with the business and IT teams to ensure effective use of ECM capabilities in accordance with IT Digital Strategy, Records Management policy and ECM procedures
    • Ensure all Risk, Audit, Compliance and Regulatory requests for the ECM team are addressed in timely manner
    • Ensure transactions, test and transports to production adhere to Home Trust Policy, Standards, and Guidelines
    • Ensure changes to the system and business solutions are appropriately risk rated
    • Maintain relevant documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines including AML/ATF legislation
    • Increase knowledge of risk management practices and techniques

    WHAT WE REQUIRE:

    • Authorized to work in Canada
    • Great communication skills
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Management or equivalent  
    • Certifications in the MS and MS Cloud ecosystem (MCITP, MCT, MCSE, SharePoint, M365, Identity, Azure), or similar relevant IT diplomas/ certificates
    • 5+ years of experience with administration, development and customization of new and existing SharePoint online applications
    • Extensive experience with OOB SharePoint features for creating webpages, forms, workflows and ability to work with Business Connectivity Services, Master Pages, Apps, Page Layouts, User Store, Web Parts, Windows Workflow Foundation, SharePoint Ribbon, etc.
    • 5+ years of development experience with Microsoft .NET platform
    • Experience with development of MS technologies: SQL, XML, MS Web Services, Enterprise Library, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Presentation and SharePoint Framework Extension
    • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, React
    • Extensive IT/Systems Administrator experience in the Microsoft space  (Windows O/S, AD, ADFS, SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365)
