The Electronic Billing Specialist manages the submission of electronic bills and oversees the daily and monthly e-billing workflow. This role requires proficiency with the client accounting system and various invoice processing applications. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player, assertive, and an independent learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They should pay attention to detail, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines while possessing excellent communication skills. Remote work is allowed for candidates in states with a Ballard office.

Your Role:

As an E Billing Specialist, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Works closely with attorneys and assistants to obtain accrual information.  Submits estimates/accruals monthly (by deadline).

  • Works with the Pricing Team to submit new timekeepers/rates to various e-billing vendor sites.

  • Assists other team members to ensure that all client and department deadlines are met.

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, including a minimum of two years of electronic billing in a professional services environment; experience in legal or insurance industry is a plus.  A strong background with widely used billing platforms such as Serengenti, Tymetrix, Collaborati, and Counsel Link, including but not limited to E-Billing Hub.  Demonstrated technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, Word, and Access.  Comfortable with systems in general is required, familiarity with Elite 3E a plus.  Ability to work overtime as needed to perform the essential functions of this position.
