We are searching for a self-motivated team member to assume the role of Contractual Document Validator for APEXA. We are a small and nimble team that prides ourselves on being innovative, fast-paced and customer focused.
In this role, you will:
- Validate the accuracy of documents uploaded to the APEXA system based on specific criteria
- Review documents in both English & French
- Work independently to monitor incoming work and complete validations within specified turn-around times
- Learn processes and procedures efficiently for risk and compliance analysis
- Assist the customer support team respond to validation-related inquiries
- Support peer review of validated items to help maintain our quality standards
- Occasionally email advisors & corporations to correct any validation-related errors
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours a week in a fully remote environment
- Have a keen attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies with a high level of accuracy
- Are self-motived and can meet strict turnaround standards while working independently
- Have a track record of being reliable and delivering on your commitments
- Are adept at juggling different tasks throughout the day and switching focus as the work requires
- Are comfortable working with technology including searching information on the Internet and learning new software
- Have a team focused attitude, forming positive relationships with the APEXA team
- Have experience in the Life Insurance Industry (asset)
- Fluent in English
- Fluent French (an asset)
