• Prepare Project specific QA Plans which meet the governing QA program, the contract requirements, and the applicable standards.
• Review Project management/engineering documents to ensure QA requirements are adequately identified and applicable procedures are followed.
• Define and document new processes when required by the contract and contribute to process improvement when process gaps in existing procedures are identified.
• Participate in audits and self-assessments and identify conditions adverse to quality and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain regular reporting on quality performance.
• Liaise effectively with groups within Candu.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Engineering (Mechanical, or Electrical).
• Knowledge in one (1) or more QA standards applicable to design, procurement, and construction for nuclear power plants such as: ISO 9001: 2015 ; CSA N286-12; CSA N285.0, CSA N286.7, ASME Section III, Article NCA-4000/NCA 3800; CSA N299 series of standards is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with team participation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; unambiguous explanation of quality requirements and processes.
• Ability to efficiently prioritize and execute the assigned tasks.
