An exciting opportunity has opened to join our Dividend Disbursements team as a Dividend Event Specialist.

This role will work collaboratively with the Issuer Services and Plans/Front Office teams and other business units to meet the client’s payment requirements.  The Dividend Disbursements team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of client dividend payments to their shareholders. You will be responsible for assigned payment projects and handle their execution by standard operating procedures, time frames, regulatory requirements and guidelines.

The Dividend Disbursements team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of client dividend payments to their shareholders. Dividend Disbursements Operations handles payments for all books of business including Transfer Agent. This role will report directly to the Manager Operations Support and work collaboratively with the Dividend Service Operations Support along with other business units in order to meet the client’s expectations related to Payments. 

Provide dividend service delivery

  • Dividend Events Admin is responsible for delivering accurate and timely delivery of payments based on Front Office instruction.
  • Administrators are responsible for successfully processing the payment with available information and coordination with various internal and external dependencies such as other Shared Services, CCS, DRP, Tax, etc. 
  • Secure information and project management delivery.
  • Ensures that all tasks related to the payment are properly documented and delivered.

Ensure quality product delivered 

  • Prepare and reconcile payments for both Issuer and Plans clients and uploading data to SCRIP.
  • Interface with the internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful delivery of Payment. Ability to manage multiple project deliverables and ensure SLAs are met.

Team Support 

  • Regularly receive escalated time sensitive tasks from management and ability to prioritize accordingly.

Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

What will you bring to the role?  

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel such as creating functions, pivot tables, and creating charts.

Knowledge of Computershare’s products, customer markets, regulatory environments, processes, and technologies applicable to this department’s specific functions is strongly preferred.

An understanding of the general concepts, various technologies, and metrics required to ensure successful day-today technical support.

Business-focused communication skills.

Understanding of and experience in low-level accounting principles and practices.

Experience working with various technical applications. 

Detail oriented.
