We’re hiring a Director of Technical Talent Acquisition to build and scale EvenUp’s recruiting engine across Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Product, and Design. This is a high-impact, highly visible role where you’ll shape how we attract, assess, and hire world-class technical talent, partnering closely with leadership to build one of the strongest teams in the industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead hiring strategy to build a world-class technical team.

  • Hire, develop, and scale a high-performing Talent team.

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle (strategy, sourcing, assessment, closing).

  • Use data to drive results across key metrics: hiring goals, funnel conversion, time to hire, quality of hire, and candidate experience.

  • Partner with hiring managers to design rigorous, high-signal assessments.

  • Build innovative sourcing strategies and a compelling technical talent brand.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with EPD, Finance, and People teams to deliver a seamless hiring experience.

  • Enable hiring managers with tools, training, and best practices.

  • Ensure scalable, compliant, and high-integrity recruiting processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience, with deep experience in technical hiring.

  • 5+ years of people management experience, including hiring, developing, and scaling recruiting teams.

  • Proven success scaling recruiting in high-growth, startup environments.

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Strong track record of closing top technical talent (including competitive roles like ML Engineers).

  • Data-driven operator with a focus on measurable outcomes.

  • Ability to operate strategically and hands-on.

  • Experience hiring across North America and globally.

  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management.

  • Low ego, high ownership. You do what it takes to win.
