Position Overview:

As Director, Social Media within the Corporate Marketing team, you will lead Viral Nation’s corporate social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, with a primary focus on enterprise B2B audiences. You will define how Viral Nation shows up through social, translating our point of view and thought leadership into a high-impact presence that drives awareness, consideration, and demand. 

You are a modern social marketer with strong creative instincts and deep expertise in platform-native storytelling. You understand how senior marketers consume content, particularly on LinkedIn, and know how to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that resonate and spread. 

This role sits at the intersection of brand, content, and growth. You will partner closely with content, PR, demand, and executive leadership to ensure Viral Nation’s social presence is cohesive, influential, and aligned to business priorities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Viral Nation’s corporate social media strategy owning our brand storytelling across social media.
  • Own the full social content calendar across our social channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok aligning across all corporate marketing initiatives (e.g. blogs, newsletters, whitepapers, webinars, podcasts, events, and quarterly campaigns)
  • Publish and schedule all approved content while maintaining consistent platform cadences
  • Collaborate closely with content and design teams to translate long-form and campaign assets into high-performing social formats
  • Collaborate, produce and edit social-first video content, including short-form clips, thought leadership videos, trend explainers, and event coverage
  • Stay highly informed on industry news, platform updates, and cultural moments relevant to our industry
  • Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions daily; respond using Viral Nation’s brand voice and escalate issues as needed
  • Identify opportunities for influencer, creator, and partner amplification in collaboration with Partnerships and PR teams
  • Track and report on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of social media experience at an in-house brand or agency, ideally supporting enterprise B2B marketing audiences
  • Experience leading or managing a nimble social team, with the ability to set direction, provide clear feedback, and elevate the work through collaboration and mentorship.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with teams such as content, PR, demand generation, creative, analytics, and executive leadership.
  • Strong creative judgment paired with data fluency, able to balance experimentation with performance and business impact.
  • Deep understanding of what performs on social channels for B2B and enterprise audiences, including thought leadership, executive storytelling, and demand-influencing content
  • Has a keen and detailed creative eye that understands what works across different channels
  • Image and video editing skills with experience creating social-first video content optimized for platform-native consumption
  • Proven ability to plan and execute integrated social calendars tied to campaigns and content launches
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, with an understanding of platform nuance and audience intent
  • Experience using social analytics tools and native platform insights to measure performance
  • Comfortable managing community engagement, responding publicly on behalf of a brand, and representing Viral Nation professionally
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with tact and diplomacy when working cross-functionally and with external partners
 
This role has an annual salary range of $120,000 to $140,000
 
This range reflects the full scope and progression of the role, from building capability to operating with sustained impact at a higher level. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package designed to support our team as they grow with us.

Where an offer falls within this range is determined through the interview process. Candidates are benchmarked by the hiring team based on role scope, relevant experience, skill alignment, and expected impact, using consistent and objective criteria.
 
 
Compensation Philosophy:

At Viral Nation, compensation is structured, performance-led, and market-aligned. Pay decisions are intentional, based on role requirements, performance, and market alignment by country, and are set to maintain internal pay equity across comparable roles and levels.

Compensation progression is tied to demonstrated performance, expanded scope, and sustained contribution over time, not tenure alone. Employee compensation is reviewed regularly through formal performance reviews and check-ins to ensure alignment with role expectations and impact.
