Job Overview:
Decision Foundry, a fast-growing global data consultancy, is searching for a proven project management professional to lead the project management practice.  At Decision Foundry, there is nothing more important than the success of our clients.  We’re specifically looking for a Project Management Lead who will provide leadership, team management, strategically manage risk, monitor finances and make sure that each phase of the project starts and ends on schedule within the project’s scope of work (SOW).  You will help to drive the continued growth of our company by building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with cross-functional teams internally to deliver consistently excellent results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Data Analytics PMO.
  • Oversee client projects, ensuring projects are implemented in alignment with client goals and are completed on-time and within budget.
  • Develop and continuously assess and improve methodology, processes, and governance to optimize PMO maturity.
  • Develop and implement project management best practices & standards for ensuring repeatable and measurable outcomes, including certifications and qualifications for Program/Project Managers, success measurement criteria, methodologies, and tools.
  • Monitor and manage resources and workload allocation for the enterprise Data Analytics PMO. Set key performance goals and monitor performance indicators, while continually seeking to improve project transparency and efficiency.
  • Provide coaching to PMO teammates for professional development and ensure established processes and best practices are being utilized. Motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance, while prioritizing being a pleasure to work with.
  • Clearly communicate the status of individual projects to stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of project management experience with at least 3 of those in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Project Management Profession (PMP) Certified.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools. Strong project management skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident communicator.
  • Effective team leadership and abilities to mentor, coach and transfer knowledge and expertise to others.
  • Self-starter; willing to take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Data Analytics and project management tools.
  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).


Benefits:

  • Work Setup- Hybrid
  • For Canada based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is CAD $120,000 to $160,000.
