Help define how privacy‑first technology delivers value to the organizations that keep people safe.
At Pontosense, we transform everyday spaces into intelligent, supportive environments, using contactless sensing to understand what’s happening around us without intrusion. Our technology is built to safeguard independence, preserve dignity, and give families and care providers confidence that the people they love are safe.
We’re now looking for a Director of Product to lead the evolution of our product, partnering closely with customers and internal teams to turn our sensing platform into scalable, trusted solutions for care providers and wellness partners. Reporting to our COO, you’ll own the product vision and roadmap, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on product execution
You’ll be the connection between customer needs, operational realities, and the product experiences we bring to market. You’ll collaborate with design, engineering, sales, and customer teams to shape what we build, how we deliver it, and how it performs in the real world.
In this role, you will:
- Own the vision and roadmap for SilverShield as a product, ensuring it clearly addresses the needs of care providers, partners, and other organizations who rely on Pontosense to protect the people they serve.
- Lead product discovery efforts with customers and internal stakeholders, turning insights from the field into clear priorities and actionable plans.
- Translate strategy into well‑defined product initiatives, epics, and requirements that balance user value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
- Partner with design and engineering to deliver high‑quality product releases, from early concept through launch and iteration.
- Work closely with go‑to‑market teams—sales, customer success, and operations—to shape positioning, support launches, and ensure customers experience a cohesive journey from onboarding through long‑term adoption.
- Establish and refine product rhythms and processes (planning, prioritization, reviews) that help the organization make thoughtful, data‑informed decisions.
- Use qualitative and quantitative signals to understand how the product is performing in the field and guide continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support other product managers, helping to elevate craft, decision‑making, and product thinking across the team.
What we're looking for:
- Significant experience in product management, including meaningful time owning products that serve organizations, partners, or enterprise customers.
- A track record of working as a player‑coach: comfortable setting vision and direction while remaining hands‑on with discovery, requirements, and product delivery.
- Experience collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams—engineering, design, operations, sales, and customer success—to ship products that work in both product and operational environments.
- Strong product discovery skills: you know how to engage with customers, internal teams, and the market to uncover problems worth solving and turn them into clear, prioritized bets.
- Fluency in balancing user needs, operational constraints, and business objectives when making product decisions.
- Clear, thoughtful communication—both written and verbal—with the ability to create shared understanding across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, evolving environment where not everything is defined, and where you help create clarity for others.
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus, but not required:
- Building products in health, wellness, safety, or adjacent domains.
- Working with sensing, hardware‑enabled, or data‑rich products.
- Helping scale products from early traction to broader adoption.
