At AutoScout24, we’re excited to be hiring for our Canadian company, Trader Corporation — a key part of our international family.
As the Canadian arm of Europe’s largest online car marketplace, Trader Corporation plays a vital role in transforming how people buy, sell, and finance vehicles. With well-known brands like AutoTrader.ca, AutoSync, and Dealertrack Canada, Trader Corporation is driving digital innovation in the automotive industry — now reaching over 25 million Canadians every month.

This role will be within our FinTech Business i.e. Dealertrack Canada, the country’s leading automotive financing portal, processing over 6.5 million credit applications annually and Collateral Management (CMS), a national tech solution that boosts lien and registration services, recovery services, and insolvency management solutions for Canadian Lenders.

Our fintech platforms power the lending workflows that financial institutions and dealers rely on every day, forming the backbone of Canada’s automotive lending ecosystem.

Our mission is to help Canadians get into the right vehicles with confidence by powering the financial infrastructure behind it. We’ve built an industry-leading ecosystem at the center of automotive finance in Canada, and we’re just getting started.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Director of Product to lead key products within our fintech domain. Reporting to the VP of Product, Fintech, you will own the strategy and evolution of products that support automotive lending across Canada while leading a team of Product Managers responsible for delivering meaningful outcomes for lenders and partners.

You will work closely with engineering, design, and business leaders to translate customer needs and market dynamics into clear product direction and measurable outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Own the product vision and strategy for key areas of our fintech platform, setting clear direction and outcomes for your product portfolio
  • Lead and develop Product Managers, building a strong team and helping them grow their product judgment and leadership
  • Partner with leading financial institutions to understand evolving needs and ensure our platform continues to support critical lending workflows
  • Drive cross-functional execution, working closely with engineering, design, data, and commercial teams to deliver high-impact products
  • Strengthen product practices, establishing programs, decision frameworks, and operating rhythms that help teams execute effectively
  • Deliver measurable outcomes, ensuring product investments create meaningful value for customers and the business

What you'll bring:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including experience leading and developing Product Managers
  • Proven experience owning product vision, strategy, and outcomes for complex products or platforms
  • Experience working closely with enterprise customers or partners to shape product direction
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex systems with multiple stakeholders, integrations, and workflows
  • Experience working in strong product-led technology organizations
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders across product, engineering, and business teams
  • A track record of coaching Product Managers and building high-performing teams
  • Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or financial platforms is a plus but not required.

About You:

Building the technology that powers automotive finance involves constant change, complexity, and ambiguity. We thrive on pushing limits and solving hard problems. Many people find that environment energizing, though it isn’t the right fit for everyone.

Before you apply, consider whether you can:

  • Care deeply about the impact of the work you do
  • Continuously push yourself to learn and improve
  • Keep pace with an environment that moves quickly
  • Remain resilient and resourceful when problems are unclear or evolving
  • Bring clear thinking, strong opinions, and thoughtful debate to the table
  • Use AI effectively so you can focus on higher-impact work
  • Respect different perspectives while challenging ideas to reach better outcomes
