About the Role
The Director, Product Transformation plays a critical role in shaping and operationalizing Element’s end-to-end Fleet Management operating model across the U.S. and Canada. Supporting the SVP, Product Transformation, this role is responsible for defining target-state processes, operating models, and technology requirements; coordinating implementation and execution across the organization; and ensuring alignment to strategic objectives. As part of this work, the Director serves as the strategic product lead for assigned transformation domains, translating business objectives into an end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and launch plan that delivers measurable outcomes for clients, partners, and internal users.
What You'll Do
- Support and advise the SVP, Product Transformation in establishing strategic direction and target-state operating models for priority Fleet Management components.
- Conduct current-state assessments, evaluate alternative models, and develop future-state business processes and workflows that improve operational efficiency and client outcomes.
- Translate strategic objectives into detailed transformation and product strategies, including end-to-end product vision, roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics for assigned domains.
- Drive end-to-end execution of assigned transformation and product initiatives, coordinating cross-functional activities across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Technology.
- Oversee solution design, requirements validation, user acceptance testing, and implementation readiness to ensure successful launches.
- Partner with Finance to understand cost structures and model financial impacts, influencing P&L outcomes through operational and product design decisions.
- Prepare executive-level communication materials, business cases, and KPI dashboards to track initiative performance, financial impact, and client experience outcomes.
- Serve as a strategic partner and thought leader to senior leadership, facilitating alignment and change readiness across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Leasing or Fleet Management, and/or Digital Product Design.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex operating-model or product transformations.
- Strong understanding of digital concepts, business process design, and technology-enabled operating models.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Technology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for executive, technical, and operational audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in fleet, mobility, financial services, or related industries.
- Experience overseeing implementation activities including requirements definition, vendor collaboration, testing, and rollout.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect operational decisions to financial impact.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority and drive enterprise-wide alignment.
- Change leadership experience guiding teams through complex transformation programs.
Location: Toronto
The hiring base salary range for this position is $133,400 - $183,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
