We are looking for a Director, Procurement Strategy & Transformation. The Director is an integral part of the procurement strategy and transformation team and will be responsible for strategic procurement transformation initiatives and will support the Technology Professional Services Tower Lead with Strategic initiatives, systems and critical projects. In this role you will develop and implement key strategic initiatives and business cases to achieve the overall business unit objectives. In this role, you will also collaborate with Sourcing Managers and providing business intelligence to enhance data driven business decisions to achieve our goals. The Director will also be responsible for large, complex sourcing and contracting initiatives. In this role you will help develop and execute team, system and sourcing strategies consistent with an overall category strategy and business unit objectives.
Individual Responsibilities :
- Support strategic projects for the team and NA Procurement
- Conduct benchmarking and opportunity assessment to achieve business unit goals
- Suggest and make changes in existing processes and metrics to increase efficiency & effectiveness
- Conduct benchmarking for procurement, best-in class negotiations, AI best practices, transformational initiatives in procurement.
- Engage with Procurement team and collaborators to increase data driven decision making
- Identify and develop key performance metrics and dashboards
- Provide sourcing thought leadership
- Create presentations for executive leadership which highlight relevant process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Support to bring consistency and efficiency across categories
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute large, complex sourcing projects and contracting efforts
- Conduct baseline and market analysis, develop sourcing strategy and conduct contract negotiations
- Influence requirements from business partners necessary to evaluate and select suppliers
- Determine sourcing strategy and conduct analysis and negotiations
- Manage relations with key business partners and project owners to develop/maintain strong working relationships
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (business, Supply Chain or analytics preferred)
- 10 years of progressive business experience in consulting and/or sourcing and procurement
- Good knowledge of data analysis
- Experience in developing operational strategies
- Working knowledge of data analysis – Excel and/or Power BI or similar tools
- Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic and right to left thinking.
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally, comfortable with multi-tasking and executing on ambiguity.
- Ability to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work as needed
- Experience in previous strategy consulting role will be preferred

Salary range is expected to be between
$125,100.00 CAD - $175,100.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact [email protected] for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
